The Pursuit Conditioning System

Emil introduces the system that he uses to help his athlete develop the strength that they need to be competitive in the sport of CrossFit:
Hypertrophy —> Force Development —> Force Expression —> Power Development

Hypertrophy

Why is putting on muscle mass important for CrossFit? What does it have to do with getting stronger? How important is exercise selection? All of these questions and more are answered in the hypertrophy module.

Force Development & Force Expression

Becoming stronger involved training in a manner that elicits more force. In this module Emil goes into detail on what that involves. What the difference between force development and force expression is. How developing force requires very different training compared to building muscle mass, and much more.

Training For Power

In this module you’ll find answers to things such as: What is the force-velocity curve? Why is it important for a CrossFitter to develop more than just maximal force/strength?
